National Surfacing

From survey to final finish

Our work & process

Every surface we lay follows a carefully planned process, managed by our own team from start to finish.

The build

Stages

Five carefully managed stages ensure every driveway, path and courtyard is built on solid foundations.

Stage 1: Measuring & design

We survey your site, take accurate measurements and design a layout, colour and edging scheme that suits your property.

Stage 2: Excavation

The existing surface is carefully removed and the ground excavated to the correct depth, with all spoil cleared from site.

Stage 3: Laying sub-base structure

A compacted, load-bearing sub-base is laid and levelled to provide the firm, stable foundation every lasting surface needs.

Stage 4: Laying cobbles & edgings

Kerbs, cobble sets and edgings are installed to frame your surface, define borders and add a crisp, decorative finish.

Stage 5: Tarmac or resin bound surfacing

Finally, your chosen base tarmac and resin bound or tarmac surface is laid and hand-finished to a flawless standard.

Carefully planned production

Efficiency on site. Excellence in every finish.
