Resin bound surfacing is ready for foot traffic after around 12 hours (temperature dependent). Cars can use it after 48 hours, and larger commercial vehicles should wait up to 72 hours so the surface fully cures.
Usually not. Our resin bound surfaces are fully permeable and SUDS compliant, so rainwater drains straight through. Because the surface is free draining, it does not normally require planning permission.
Tarmac is quick and easy to install. Once the groundwork and sub-base are prepared, a typical residential tarmac driveway can be laid and completed within a day.
Very little maintenance is needed. A light sweep from time to time and an occasional light pressure wash to lift stubborn marks will keep your surface looking its best for years.
Yes. Our wet pour safety surfacing is fully certified to EN1177 and combines a recycled SBR rubber base layer with a high-quality EPDM top layer, creating a durable, slip-resistant surface that protects against injuries from trips and falls.
